A lecture organised to mark the 90th anniversary of the birth of Václav Havel will trace his journey from playwright and essayist, through his role as a prominent figure in the Czechoslovak dissident movement, to becoming president and a respected figure in international politics. Dr Vít Klepárník will guide the audience through his life, ideas and public work.
