Living Together: The Story of De Warren
How did a group of young Dutch people with no previous experience of similar projects manage, with the help of a few external experts, to design, finance and ultimately build a collective housing block? Filmed by one of the community members, the documentary shows the complex process, complete with a series of tense situations that not everyone is able to cope with. The result is Amsterdam’s first self-built housing co-operative and a home for 36 households.
